It was another long day. I did two stages in one day to make up some time. As I like at the next stage distances, this will probably be the last day I do that. I walked 23.4 miles today in about 9 hours and 20 minutes. All of the next stages combined with their adjacent ones are over 26 miles. I got a new blister, but I realized if I pop it, but alcohol on it, and wrap it well, after about 15 minutes of hobbling, I can walk normally on it without much pain. The human body is a marvelous thing. It was cool this morning, probably in the low 40s. I loved it. I was still walking in a short-sleeved t-shirt. It warmed up to about 67 and sunny. That’s almost to warm, but I made it to León. I visited the cathedral and had a wonderful dinner at an Italian restaurant. Them I needed back to my hotel. Yes, there’s a nice Marriott just of the Camino and it was only 12,000 points. I really couldn’t say no to a real bed, a bathtub, towels, soap, a minibar, and a free bottle of wine, could I? I’m in bed at 8 pm after eating and posting this. Here are my pictures from the day:
Time to relax. Enjoy the photos!

Hi Maryann! I really appreciate your comments. They help motivate me.
Absolutely gorgeous (even the food)! 🤣 I can only imagine how much more beautiful the sites are in person! So glad you are sharing this journey with the rest of us.
Siamese cats! The only cat I really liked. Grandma K. had one. Her name was Sam.
After a long day, the bed looks so inviting! Rest well for the new day ahead. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
