Well, I’ve been on the Camino now the same amount as I was on it in 2019. I’m starting to hit my stride with the foot problems under control and my legs holding up well. I stayed in a hotel in a large city last night. It was only 7,000 Marriott points. It would have been dumb not to.
It a weird experience waking up in a hotel in a large city and walking with your own two feet to the countryside. I’m staying in a tiny village in a smaller albergue. It seems pretty nice. The beginning of the walk was through the city and a couple suburbs, but ended up with some lovely walks through several vineyards and then into the mountains.
Before I got to the city I planned on staying in for the night, I passed Maren. She’s German, but lives with her boyfriend in The Netherlands. We had a similar pace and started chatting. We got to the final city of the stage, but both convinced the other to go on more. We did two more towns until we ended up in Trabadelo. It was a good two hour walk, but we got two hours on tomorrow, which is supposed to be the hardest day of the whole trek with lots of incline.
Here are some photos of the day:

The beauty never ends! I love the street with the colorful doors and all the plants/flowers! Speaking of flowers, Grandma would, probably, know what that one with the “berry” is!
I am going to make the tuna, feta, asparagus, olive oil salad, It looks delicious!
The architecture of the churches you posted is so amazing. However, the traditions (walking through the doors) is off!
I am looking forward to more exciting posts! You can’t stop now. I/We are counting on you as we travel through your eyes. 😃
