It was a great day to walk. No rain, and cool temperatures. I left the hotel and headed in my way. I was surprised to find waymarkers for this Camino, but they were there. Same as the old one. I had about 71 miles to go in total. I did 20 today. I was going to do more, but there were no albergues open in the next five or six miles from where I stopped. The scenery was pretty nice. I saw a few horses, dogs and cows, and the beautiful countryside. It’s very green here – probably because of the rain. It’s supposed to rain most of the next days I’ll be here.
I’m in a simple private albergue. 2 bunk beds in my room, so far it’s just me in here. I hope it stays that way. They have a clean, hot shower and a community dinner at 7:30. I’m looking forward to that.
Here are today’s photos:

Oh Dominic,
Your pictures are just beautiful. I can’t imagine how old some of the architecture, bridges are. I hope you are enjoying every minute of this journey….peaceful and beautiful. God Bless you, friend!!!
Thank you, Sherri. Yes, I struggle with thinking people live in 200 year old houses and the stone walls are probably much, much older. It a beautiful countryside and I remind myself every day how fortunate I am. Thank you for following.
So many of these pictures look like magnificent paintings! I love the rocks with moss and the one with the horse in the field, gorgeous! The pictures bring a sense of peace, just as I look at them, I can only imagine what it must feel like walking through it all.
Sleep well; enjoy tomorrow’s path.
I pray for continued safety.
